… I spent a few days with my cousins over in HQ this week and yer never goin’ to believe what we got up to!

I was hangin’ around outside when this thing hopped between my two front feet. I chased it along while Me Ma stood laughing at me but even though it was, like, waaaaaay smaller than me I couldn’t catch it, damn slippery thing. It looked like the one that I found in our house a few months ago.

I think it’s called a Kermit?

And then on another day I was in the big shed helping Me Ma and The Brazilian feed the nags and what did I see only Mickey bleedin’ Mouse!! Of course I raced after him to get his autograph and ran round and round the tractor until I felt dizzy but he just vanished. I checked again yesterday but I think I scared him off.

I really like being there, I can pretend to be Jaws because I’m so short and all you can see is the tip of me tail in the field as I creep up behind my victim and scare the bejaysus outta them. That’s how I got Me Ma to fall in the muck the other day, she thinks she slipped but I nudged her. I had to, she was getting close to finding out that I’d dug up  and eaten Maureen who died last month. I tried to eat all her feathers but they kept getting stuck in me throat so I had to spit them out.

That’s a secret so don’t tell anyone, right, otherwise I’ll brain ya.

But the absolute best thing about staying with my cousins?

Coming home to chase the badgers in our field.

Lots of Love,

The Flatpack
